After Twitter, Instagram set to introduce the pinned post feature for users

Instagram has a feature called “Pin to Profile” that allows you to pin your posts, much like tweets. According to a TechCrunch Report. Visitors will be able to view the post at the top of your profile as soon as you open it. It will save viewers the hassle of scrolling down to find highlighted posts deep within their profile. For creators and users posting frequently, pinned posts can be very useful. This feature is being evaluated for select users.

Insta testing pinged posts

According to the report, the option to pin to your profile will be found in the menu of three dots at the top-right corner of every post. Meta sent an email to TechCrunch confirming the feature. He stated that “We’re testing new features that let people feature posts onto their profiles.”

Users can now add important Stories to their profile highlights. These Stories can be viewed by viewers (those you follow).

Alessandro Paluzzi, reverse engineer, pointed this out back in January. A screenshot of the feature was shared by him, suggesting that social media platforms are working on it for some time.

Instagram recently removed the “Recent” tab from hashtag pages. This was done for testing. When you search Instagram for hashtags, you will be taken to an Instagram page that allows you to browse Reels, videos, and posts under those hashtags under the following categories: Top (Recent), and Reels.

Social media site has removed “Recent” tab to allow users to browse the Top and Reels sections. Users will now be able to view posts and Reels that have received the most engagement.
