Apple announces 825 Million Pain Subscriptions for All Services

Apple’s services revenues were record breaking with over 825 million subscribers to its Services. This is an increase of 165 million from the previous year. Cupertino-based tech company Apple announced that it had earned $19.8 Billion in Services revenues, a 17.5% increase year-over-year. Apple’s services category comprises App Store, Apple TV+ and Apple Music. It also includes cloud services.

The company has generated 75 billion dollars in services revenue over the past 12 months.

“These remarkable results reflect our continued investments in improving and growing our services portfolio, and the positive momentum we’re witnessing on many fronts,” Luca Maestri (Apple’s CFO) said during an earnings call.

Apple highlighted some of the company’s recent accomplishments in the services category. Apple TV+ won the Academy Award for Best Picture for “Coda” and Apple TV+ has received over 240 awards.

Apple sold iPhones in March worth $50.6 billion, a 5 percent rise year-over-year. The Macs enjoyed a big leap and revenues rose 15% to $10.4 Billion.

Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that “This quarter’s record-breaking results were a testimony to Apple’s unwavering focus on innovation, and our ability create the best products/services in the world,” We are thrilled to witness the positive response from customers to our new products. This is in addition to the efforts we have made to make our supply chains and products carbon-neutral by 2030. Apple reported record revenues of $97.3 billion in its March quarter. This is an increase of 9 percent year-over-year and a net profit total of $25 billion. Apple set a new all-time record in March quarter revenues for Services, as well as records for iPhone and Mac sales.

In India, Apple’s contract producers – Pegatron Wistron and Foxconn — are forecast to produce iPhones in the range of Rs 47,000 crore through fiscal 2022-23. Wistron will manufacture iPhones valued at Rs 27,000 crore while Pegatron, Foxconn and Foxconn should produce iPhones for Rs 12,000 crore to Rs 8,000 crore.
