Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola CEO won’t invite Elon to Futurefactory. Here are the reasons

Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Cabs’ CEO has stated that he won’t invite Tesla CEO Elon Musk into the two-wheeler manufacturing plant. He feels The Boring founder of the company will be forced to travel to India when India becomes an electrification hub.

“Why should Musk be invited?” Aggarwal stated in an IANS statement that he should invite us because we take pride in what we do.

“No single company is capable of bringing true mobility to the entire world. Ola, Tesla and Ola are not the answer. He said that the focus of the company is to empower the communities, build electrification in India and the rest of the world and create the industry we want.

Notable is the recent announcement by Ola Electric CEO that India will soon be a market leader in autonomous vehicles. Ola Electric has been testing its autonomous vehicle, which the company plans to release in the world market late 2023 or early 2024. Aggarwal also revealed that their Ola Electric S1 Series two-wheelers will not be equipped with the autonomous driving technology. The company plans to introduce this feature in an electric vehicle. This is a plan to make India an electric hub.

Aggarwal, speaking on the occasion, said that Musk would visit India once his company has reached the milestone. He said, “Once that is achieved, Musk will travel on his own.”

It is interesting that Musk has spoken about India’s plans for Tesla cars before. Aggarwal welcomed Musk to India when he spoke to reporters last year.

When asked by him about Tesla’s request to lower its import duties on its electric vehicles in order to open operations in India, he replied, “I welcome that gentleman… Competition is good. In the end, industry must create a sustainable revolution in India.”

He also stated that Indian companies should be investing in India if they want to export their cars to India. According to PTI, he said that Indian and international companies should make investments in India.

Elon Musk of Tesla has clashed with Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola, a ride-sharing company. The main points are that Elon Musk believes that India should be investing in India and Indian companies should be investing in India as well so they can export their cars to India.
