The damage is 1d6 hit die which is kind of a fair choice it’s not the worst one but certainly not the best. You can begin with 1d6 to work your way up through the 5th, 11th and 17th levels. Capstone is 46. The cast is one act. There is a one-save throw constitution. The components are a trifecta so somatic, verbal and material in case you’re curious the material component is a living believe. Most people don’t use components, it’s not absorbed in the process you can reduce it but just throwing that out there. The school is conjuration which isn’t too surprising and even less surprising. The damage type is poison. Now let’s take a look at the full description here.

In this D&D 5E Infestation spell you have been cause a cloud of mites, fleas, and also the other parasites for being appeared momentarily on the one creature that you can able to see within a range. Whatever the name of the target, Should be successful on a Constitution saving throwIt would not be possible. 1d6 poison damageEven moves 5 feet in random directionsIf it can move, and also if Speed must not exceed 5 feet.

Roll the d4 die to determine the direction you want: 1, north, 2, South, 3, East, or 4. West. This movement does not trigger the opportunity attacks. The target will not move if the direction is blocked.

Higher Levels

Actually, the spell’s damage actually increases by 1d6 whenever you do reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).

This could be used at multiple locations or with multiplecasters. It could be used in conjunction with the booming sword. Because although the attack or the movement doesn’t promote attack of opportunity and certainly would provoke spell effects.  I think that’s definitely interesting way to look at it or any ground based effect really would be able to advantage quite a bit by this as well as uses some inclining. I could imagine that’d be quite disastrous they probably fall down. You can use the same spell for different purposes.

Other uses

This would allow you disengage potential allies, and even have enemy troops. I really think that would work in addition if someone’s guarding a door you could really get them to move out there as well and a little bit more of a sleepy application. If you and your party were contracted out by let’s say visit a bar owner right an innkeeper and they wanted to drive the competition out of town. Infecting would be a great way to accomplish this. This spell would be applied out of combat for a time, and then it would spread to all parts of the body. It has a distinctive taste and can be used for strange, but not necessarily evil purposes.
