Overview

As per this you’re almost an initiate, on a specific path for completing the trials of the five gods in a hope of earning the glorified death in a specific final Trial of Zeal. Some of the combination from any of your natural aptitude, your crop’s needs and also your teachers’ assessment while you’re an acolyte that led you to focus on your training in a specific area of specialization – hand-to-hand combat, long-range combat, or spellcasting. A well-rounded initiate can be called truly worthy of an afterlife.

After all this, if you’re a hand-to-hand specialist, consider it as the barbarian, fighter, monk, paladin, or rogue classes. You could be fighter, ranger, or rogue, just as a long-range combat specialist.  Suppose, if you’re the spellcasting specialist, then you might be a bard, sorcerer, or wizard. You might also have considered multiclassing, or using feats to enhance your skills in each of these areas.

Trial of the Five Gods

Your life is centered around five trials that will determine your worthiness for the afterlife. The training is available to you 24/7, so you can prepare for and endure all the trials. Under the supervision of viziers, the servitor Mummies (the anointed), will provide you with a safe place to live and meals.

Of course you can enjoy all of these benefits when only as long as you would obey a societal norms of the Naktamun – training for the trials (with or without your crop), in order to obeying the orders of the gods and of course for following the different instructions of their viziers.  But if you’re violating any of these norms that time you risk being treated as a dissenter.

Suggested Characteristics

The initiate’s life has normally been focused on the trials, but it does not need to all about the trials. Though some of the initiates are highly focused upon their training, most of the undergo which is training while it is also experiencing joy, sorrow, love, loss, anger, jealousy, hope, faith, delight – the whole range of the mortal emotions and also the experience.

Probably, the afterlife might have been a constant presence in it’s every initiate’s mind, but of course it is culmination of a life well-lived—not a replacement for it.
