This is an excellent tool for high-elves who need to quickly move out of tight spots, and do it in style. It is found in the xanathar’s guide to everything handbook and it is definitely worth getting if you don’t own it already. That being said guys let’s take a quick look at how feats work and operate?
These feats can be obtained at every level and replace your ability score improvements. Sometimes it’s better to go with an ability score improvement other times a feat might suit your needs. Your play style is what matters. These feats allow you to increase your character’s abilities, features, and expertise. Let’s take a look at the description for fey teleportation.
Description
You must meet certain conditions to be eligible. It is necessary to be a high-elf. You can’t be a half-elf, you can’t be a wood elf, can’t be a anything like that you’ve got to be a high elf in order to get this. With that out of the way let’s take a look at the description.
Prerequisite: Elf (High)
This feat unlocks the Fey power that very few Elf have, besides your eladrin family. To make your journey even shorter, you can temporarily walk via Feywild thanks to your Fey ancestry. Perform this feat at dnd5e to enjoy the following benefits
- Teleportation dnd5e is a feat that can increase your Intelligence, charisma and by as much as 20 points.
- This skill allows you to speak, read, or write. sylvanLanguage 5e.
- You can also learn the misty step spell. This spell can be cast only once, so you don’t have to spend any spell slots. This spell can be re-gained after you have taken a rest. This spell’s ability to cast spells is called Intelligence.
This is some pretty cool stuff. Let’s take a look at the walkthrough and break it down a little bit more.
Walkthrough
So the intelligence secrets may increase not a whole lot really dressed there i’d recommend putting it in whichever one is closest to the modifier increase. If you have all of them, you can use the same point. Charisma is the best choice for most characters. Sylvan is a great communicator, writer and reader.
I don’t really think they had to put it in there. It’s nice and campaign dependent. This is very cool and the misty step spell, if you’re not familiar with how misty step works i’ll write you the spell description because literally a sentence.
Simply by being briefly or completely surrounded with silvery fogt, you can teleport anywhere in an unoccupied space. It’s amazing! This is something I love. It’s solid. Let’s take a look at my personal thoughts for it.
Thoughts
I liked the idea of a robe featuring this motif. I’m just because the ability to the whole mist movement teleportation thing is very rogue is kind of a like throw them a smoke bomb at the ground and then disappear only to reappear somewhere else.
I think that’s really cool. This is the most important mechanical benefit. I’m going with spell casters. I think the hex played warlock would probably gain the most from this if i’m being honest. So spellcasters gained from it something because if you’re surrounded or someone gets jump on you and get this the surprise round and you’re in a really rough spot. This is a way to get out of trouble without taking advantage of any opportunities.
So that’s really cool they’re. This is why I believe the hex-blade and warlock warlocks might be the most affected. If you’re a hex played warlock. You’re in the thick of combat.
That being said, your hit point die really isn’t that large. So if your armored agathis rands out and you’re almost dead and you’re surrounded by enemies and you’ve already used up your spell slot. There is a way out. This is the way to do it….hands down.
