Google Pay’s Splitwise-inspired feature, dubbed Split Bill India has been launched. This feature will be available via an update both for Android and iOS users. Along with other announcements, the Split bill feature of Google For India was also announced last month.
Split Bill is available in the latest version of the Android app. Android users will find the Google Play Store, while iPhone users will find the Apple App Store.
Google Pay Split Bill: How do you use it?
After you’ve updated Gpay, please follow these steps:
Step 1. Open Google Pay App Step 2. Click on the New Payment Option
Step 3: Click on the next group option on the screen
Step 4: Now you can add friends/contacts to your group.
Step 5: Add up the total amount and divide it equally. Gpay offers the ability to modify the amount or remove an individual from the split of the money.
Split Bill will stop users from installing another app that splits bills. Gpay’s Split Bill feature is inspired from Spiltwise. This app is used widely to split expenses for a trip, dinner or house party, without creating any confusion.
Google For India introduced new features like My Shop and Hinglish support. My Shop allows merchants create a mini-online store with basic information such as rate card, inventory and store images. The company confirmed that it will soon be available in India. The support for Hinglish will be available on the payment app very soon. However, the exact timeline is still unknown.
