WhatsApp is one the most popular and important messaging apps. WhatsApp Web allows users to access the app from a computer or laptop. You only need an internet connection to use the app.
You will need to scan the QR code to log into your WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop account. These are the steps to follow:
Logging in to WhatsApp using a laptop/PC
- You can open WhatsApp from your phone. Android users will be able to tap the “More”, while iPhone users will need to tap WhatsApp’s “Settings”.
- Next, tap the “Link a device” option. Android users who have a biometric installed on their device will need to follow the on-screen instructions. The pin will prompt them to unlock their phone. To unlock iOS devices, users will need to tap “Link a device”, followed by “OK”. To unlock, users who have iOS 14 or higher must use Touch ID/Face ID.
- To stay signed in, select “Keep Me Signed In” from the QR screen.
- The smartphone can scan the QR code from the computer.
- Click “Done”.
That’s it! Now users can receive notifications and send messages, as well as change their status from their computers. Log out of your computer or laptop by going to WhatsApp Web. Or the desktop app. Tap on the three vertical dots located above the chat list, then click “Log Out”. Android users can log out using their smartphone by going to the menu and selecting linked devices. After that, you will need to tap on the device to select “Log Out”. iPhone users will need to go to WhatsApp Settings and select “Linked Devices”, then click on the device, and finally choose “Log out”.
