WhatsApp users seem to be dissatisfied with its new privacy policies. The messaging app has made it clear what data it gathers and how much of that information it shares with Facebook. Users who are unhappy with the service have begun to migrate to other messaging services like Signal or Telegram.

Users are switching to Signal as a messaging service after the announcement of WhatsApp’s privacy policies. Tesla CEO Elon Musk asked Twitter followers to use signal. Signal is already the most downloaded app in both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Here’s how to move to Signal using WhatsApp.

How to transfer WhatsApp group chats from WhatsApp to Signal

STEP 1: Download the Signal app for Android or iPhone, from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, respectively.

STEP 2 It is easy to set up the app. Simply add your number and enter OTP, name, and other information.

STEP 3: Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner to open the action menu. Select the ‘New Group’ option.

STEP 4: To be able set up a group, you’ll need to add someone to your contact list.

STEP 5: Select the contact, then tap the arrow for the next step.

STEP 6: Name your group, then click on “Create”.

STEP 7: Click on the vertical dots in the upper right corner of the group window.

STEP 8: Click on the ‘Group Settings’ button and then tap on Group Link’ to turn it on.

STEP 9 – Next, tap on “Share” to receive a link that can be shared with the group.

STPE 10: Simply copy and paste the link to your WhatsApp contacts within the group.
