Snapchat, which is available on almost all smartphones, is a very popular app. We can usually find at least one Snapchat Streak. This photo-sharing app allows us to capture everything we do throughout the day. You can also send and receive videos and photos, but this is not always the case.
We feel the fear of missing out or FOMO. This is why we want to save other people’s snaps and not let them know. Snapchat automatically alerts users whenever a screenshot has been taken. We have some hacks to help you do just that. Keep reading for more information about taking a snapshot of other snaps on Snapchat.
Snapchat: How can you take photos without anyone else knowing? (Android, iOS)
Using Airplane mode
You can save others’ snaps by activating the Airplane Mode. You can take a snapshot of Snapchat Stories by using this simple trick without having to make any noise. Follow these simple steps to take a screenshot of Snapchat Stories.
Step 1. Open Snapchat and verify that the snaps have been loaded. Don’t even open them
Step 2: Turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Step 3: Turn on the Airplane Mode and make sure there’s no internet connection
Step 4: Open Snapchat once more, load the snaps and take a screen shot. You just saved your snaps and didn’t need to notify anyone.
Record using another phone
This is one of the easiest ways to capture a Snapchat photo without notifications. Simply open Snapchat Story on your smartphone and take the Story you want. To take images of your snaps, click on the picture. After clicking the snap, edit it by cropping or making other changes for future use.
Native screen recording is possible on any Android and iOS devices. You only need to enable screen recording from the Notification Shade in Android or Notification Centre on iOS. After this, your screen will start recording. You can then go to Snapchat and open the photo you wish to save. You can then crop the footage you don’t want and save the rest.
Third-party screen recorders can also be used. These apps can be downloaded either from the Google Play Store, or the App Store. It is important to note that this app is only for Snapchat videos.
You can also take screenshots of Snapchat Stories with many apps. SnapSaver (Android), and Sneek-a-boo(iOS) are two examples of apps that can do this.
SnapSaver requires you to first download it from Google Play Store. Then, open the app. You can now choose between Screen Recording and Burst Screenshot. Next, head over to Snapchat. Simply open Snapchat Stories you wish to capture a screenshot from, then tap SnapSaver’s camera icon. You will now be able secretly take screenshots of Snapchat Stories.
You will need the Sneek-aboo app to log in to your Snapchat account. After you log in, you will see all your Snapchat Stories. You can also take screenshots of the required Stories and nobody would notice.
Using Google Assistant
Snapchat also supports the Google Assistant, which allows you to take screenshots. Open Snapchat, and then select the desired snap. After you have done this, open Snapchat and select the snap that interests you. You will receive a Snapchat screenshot without anyone else knowing.
The downside is that the screenshot cannot be saved directly and must be sent to Gmail, or another application to obtain a copy.
Use the Android Mirror feature
One hack is not enough. To enable screen mirroring on Android, go to Settings. Then cast your device onto another screen like a TV. After the screen has been mirrored you will be able to open Snapchat and record the Snapchat video or capture a Snapchat story using another phone. Once you have done this, all you need is some editing. The above hacks are easier than you might think.
These hacks should make it easy to capture Snapchat Stories from others without having to worry about them knowing. This is purely for entertainment and does not intend to compromise the security or privacy of anyone. You don’t have to be concerned if this is the case.
