Are you a recent convert to Apple Music? Is it hard to transfer your curated playlist from another music app? You have options to transfer your playlists from other music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Music.
And if Joe Rogan’s podcast drama has encouraged you to make the switch, and somehow made Apple Music more appealing, here’s the next step that you should follow.
How to convert Spotify playlist to Apple Music
Although there’s no official method for the smooth transfer of playlists from one app to another. Although every streamer might not have the exact same music library or file format support, there are very few third-party apps that can do the job quickly.
SongShift is available via the App store. After the app has been installed, choose the supported music services that you wish to transfer, then log in via SongShift. Once you have signed in to Spotify and Apple Music via this third-party app, click Setup Source and choose the playlist that you’d want to transfer.
Next, click Setup Destination. Finally, choose Apple Music. Once done, click I’m Finished, the transfer process will then initiate. The app allows you to view the process and verify that everything is in order. Select Ready for Review to search through all matches that the app has made. If you discover a bug, select the match and search for the correct song to rematch. When you’re done, tap Confirm Matches to create a new playlist. You can still use these third-party apps to quickly transfer playlists. However, this is not the case with the top music streaming services.
