YouTube offers Captions (Subtitles), which are designed to assist viewers with difficulty understanding audio. The feature is also helpful for the visually impaired.
YouTube may automatically add captions to videos that have them added by the owner. The default caption settings can be changed on your mobile device or computer.
YouTube captions: How do you turn them on and off?
Go to the video that you want to see. If captions are displayed, they will appear at the bottom of the player.
Click to turn on Captions
Click again to turn off captions
Setting YouTube captions on TV and game consoles
Any TV, console or other media device supporting YouTube can change or select your caption settings.
-Pause your video.
Select the language that you would like Captions to be in.
Select Caption Style
Select the settings that you wish to modify. The font can be changed as well as its appearance. The background and window in which the captions appear can be changed.
You can also view YouTube videos offline, in addition to the captions.

Sign in to YouTube Studio
Select Subtitles from the left menu
Click the Video you wish to Edit.
-Click ADD LANGUAGE to select the language you wish to use.
Click ADD to view subtitles
