Aadhaar Card, an Indian identity card that is issued to citizens of India by the Government of India, can be described as an identification card. It contains a unique 12-digit number, issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India. This number is used to prove identity as well as the address of the individual anywhere in India. India Post and UIDAI received the e-Aadhaar. Both the physical and online copy of E-Aadhaar are valid.
The Unique Identification Authority of India, the issuing authority of Aadhaar numbers, provided an earlier option to access the electronic version of Aadhaar cards. You had to manually print them. The new option allows you to have the Aadhaar card printed at your house. You will need to pay Rs 50 for this.
