All adventurers of all shapes and sizes! We are glad you have found our website. We are thankful that you clicked on the 26th episode of our feats series. Today we are going to be taking a look at one of the most devilishly attractive feats out there. Today we’re looking at Infernal constitution feat 5e. This feat is found in the xanathar’s guide to everything but if you haven’t grabbed it please pick one up. I know you’ll love it there’s a lot of great stuff in there and with that out of the way let’s take a quick look at the description here. So we kind of get what we’re talking about.
It might be worth noting first and foremost that there is a prerequisite here and that is that you gotta be a tiefling or feral tiefling in other words if you’re not a tiefling skip this article it doesn’t pertain to you. These steps will help you accomplish this feat.
You can unlock the resistance akin some fiends to make your Fiendish blood stronger in you. You have the following benefits:
- Your Constitution score can be increased up to 1, but no more than 20.
- You can also resist both cold and poison damage.
- Saving against poisoning has the advantage of giving you a better chance to win.
Fantastic! There’s a lot to see and much to unpack. let’s do that in the walkthrough section here.
First, the constitution is that +1. They could see it being a benefit mark, and they didn’t need to defend this bill. This applies to both cold and poisoned injury resistance. This combination is great with teaflings which also have fire resistance.
That being said, You know it comes down to the campaign what you find you’re running into most of stuff of that nature. Poison saving throws are the same. I find the advantage of poison saves to be probably the best part of this feat as it is a classic favorite of DM’s to use on people. For every meal that doesn’t make you a better human being, it would be smart to keep a quarter of the dollar.
Let me assure you, I would be in an entirely different place right now. That being said let’s take a look at my thoughts on it.
If you are looking to increase your constitution by one, and get more benefits, this is the best choice. This is the most crucial aspect. This all boils down to where you find yourself during the campaign.
I mean if you’re finding you’re running into a lot of poison related traps or if you’re in a part of the world where cold damage is essentially a regular occurrence then i can really see you benefitting from this, i mean once again the advantage of saving throws is already pretty great on its own with feat and with the racial abilities there i think this folds in really nicely from a thematic point of view as well.
It depends on what I do, how I play, and whether or not i accept it. It comes down to which monk is likely to be most benefitted from this. This is because the postman of Constitution does a lot. They are immune to all types of physical damage but not to elemental damage. This could increase their resistance as well as their poison saving throw. It would be most beneficial to barbarians.
If you have other ideas or build ideas, please let me know. i’d really like to hear it down in the comments beneath. This article is sure to be appreciated by everyone who has read it. We are very grateful for your kind words. Happy adventuring!
