On May 26, 2021 (i.e. today), some parts of the globe will have access to a lunar total or Blood Moon. It is the first total lunar eclipse in history since January 21, 2019. This phenomenon is sometimes called Blood Moon because it looks amazing in the reddish-orange sky.
Total lunar eclipses occur when the Earth passes between the Sun and Moon and prevents the Sun’s rays reaching the Moon. According to Indian Standard Timing (IST), the first total lunar eclipse in 2021 will begin at 2:07 am and last until 7:19 PM IST.
The 2021 total lunar eclipse will be the first to occur on May 26, 2021. It will be visible from East Asia, Australia and the Pacific. Some parts of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans will be affected by the eclipse. India will not see the total Lunar Eclipse. There are many YouTube channels which will live stream the Super Flower Blood Moon.
