- Nokia G21 features a gradient-finish polycarbonate back that gives the user a better grip when holding it. The top right corner has a vertically-stacked camera module that blends seamlessly into the Nordic Blue background. The top has a 3.5mm jack, an IR blaster, and the bottom has a USB Type C port and a speaker grille. The volume controls are located on the right. Also, the embedded side-mounted fingerprint sensor is found at the bottom. On the left you will find the SIM card tray as well as a Google Assistant button. The Nokia G21 smartphone is sturdy and can withstand a few falls. Although it is not the most beautiful smartphone on the market in this price range, the Nokia G21 is very comfortable to use. - The Nokia G21 has a 6.5 inch LCD screen with 1600×720 pixels resolution and 400 nits peak brightness. The phone is very affordable and offers an excellent viewing experience. The large screen allows you to view videos easily and is mostly well-lit. It is easy to read under direct sunlight and its adaptive brightness function responds quickly to any changes in ambient lighting. The phone’s large display combined with its lower resolution means it has a low pixel density. This is noticeable when using it. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)
- The Nokia G21’s processor is a Unisoc T606. It can store up to 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. MicroSD cards are available to expand the memory further. It was very responsive and smooth for the price, even though it only lasted a short time. Although it can perform tasks such as browsing web pages or editing Google Docs, we don’t think that the device will be able to handle playing video games. It runs Android 11 OS without any skins. You get an Android experience that is clean and free of any extra apps. The biometric authentication options – fingerprint sensor and facial unlock – can be used to quickly unlock your phone. - Coming to the cameras, the Nokia G21 sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. As far as the performance is concerned, the rear camera setup of the phone offers average performance. The colours are mostly accurate in the daylight conditions, but it misses out on clarity. This is true while using the primary sensor and the macro sensor. This is also true for the images captured under low-light conditions using the night mode. The 8MP front camera is no better. It misses out on clarity even when there is ample ambient light. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)
- The Nokia G21 is an average smartphone that has its highlights and its flaws. Although the Nokia G21 has a solid Android experience, a strong design and an excellent camera, it is not able to stand out in a highly competitive market. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)
