Samsung India moved the Noida-based R&D Institute SRI-N to its new campus at 377,118 feet on the Noida Greater Noida Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
This building’s design is inspired by India Gate. The SRI-N office and SDD offices are built to provide breakthrough innovations and new-age solution that improve people’s lives. The latest workspace reinforces Samsung’s commitment to its vision of #PoweringDigitalIndia by empowering the next generation of young India with its impactful innovations.
We are delighted to announce our new office location at the Samsung R&D Institute in Noida. This new space will allow everyone to invent and create. The new office is in keeping with our core values, people, excellence, and co-prosperity. It will provide the environment and opportunities for new-age products, solutions and services,” KY Roo (Managing Director), Samsung R&D Institute Noida stated in a statement.
He said, “With this space, we look forwards to providing opportunities for young engineers to grow, learn and contribute to Samsung’s innovative global products.”
This new office contains a variety of laboratories under SRI-N equipped with the most up-to-date equipment to test smartphone performance and stability as well as Internet of Things (IoT), capabilities.
The campus was carefully planned to accommodate the special needs of those with disabilities. The company stated that every area of the campus, including parking and pathways as well as lobbies for lifts, stairs, and stairways, uses tactile and braille indicators to make it more inclusive and accessible.
The campus has a variety of amenities to ensure maximum convenience and comfort for its employees.
SRI-Noida was founded in 2007, with the main focus on mobile software testing and development. The centre is involved in the development of localized, advanced solutions that meet market requirements for South West Asia. It also creates models for Middle East Asia (USA and Canada), Europe & CIS. It has extensive experience in all major areas of R&D, including Framework, Multimedia Applications and Knox Security.
