Both iOS and Android have a popular feature called dark mode. This helps reduce strain on the eyes. Many apps now have the ability to set dark themes, such as Instagram Messenger, WhatsApp and Twitter.

Snapchat has been the leader in this race up to now. The photo-sharing app now has the ability to use the feature. After almost one year of testing, dark mode is now available on Snapchat for iOS users.

Snapchat dark mode for iOS: How do I enable it?

Snapchat will not automatically go dark. You’ll need to do a few steps. These are the steps to take for dark Snapchat sessions:

First: Go to Snapchat with your iPhone.

Step 2 Tap on the Bitmoji in the upper left corner.

Step 3 Once you’re on Snapchat, click the Settings icon at the top-right corner.

Step 4 Scroll down to see the “App Appearance” option. Click on it.

Step 5 : You will then be able choose dark mode. There are three options available: Match System, Always Light and Always Dark.

Snapchat iOS users have dark mode as an option. It is however expected that Android users will soon have access to it. Once this occurs, we will keep you updated!
