Today we’re gonna be taking a look at yet another xanathar’s guide racial exclusive. Today we’re going to be taking a look at dnd 5e feat – squat agility for you little guys out there who want to compete in the big leagues 🙂 It is found in the xanathar’s guide to everything handbook on page of 75th and without further ado let’s take a look at the description here.
Description
Important to remember that you must meet a prerequisite. You must be at minimum one of these to be considered a dwarf/small-race. If this includes goblins, halflings, or other creatures of this type, then gnomes will also be considered. In any case let’s take a look at the description. So we could better understand what we’re talking about.
Prerequisites:Slender or tiny races
The Squat Ninderness DnD5E Feat will make you unusually agile for your race. These feats will help you reap the benefits described below.
- You can increase your strength and dexterity by up to 20%.
- This will improve your walking speed by five feet.
- It is possible to also acquire proficiency in a AcrobaticsOr AthleticsSkill (your choice).
- Naturally, you are an advantage in any StrengthAthletics) or the Dexterity (AcrobaticsTo avoid being caught, at the very least, make sure you take a second glance.
Wow! It’s amazing! Let’s take a look at the walkthrough and break this down a little bit more.
Walkthrough
Strength or dexterity are the most important. It’s easy to understand. The first step is to choose the ones that will increase your ability score. Next, determine which one best fits your character. However, dexterity can be a factor. It all depends on how tall and long you are. You will be able to walk faster if you have 5 more feet. It is useful in certain situations. It matches you up with everyone else.
Short races usually have a minus five penalty for movements. This is a great way to grab your attention. Acrobatics and athletics can be mastered. It is very simple to explain. Kind of go with whatever stats the highest or whichever one you don’t have already outside of that and then advantage one acrobatic/athletics to escape or grapple which is pretty good stuff. Your campaign will determine the outcome. In any case let’s take a look at my personal thoughts on it.
Thoughts
This would only benefit the hex blade warlock. This will help them avoid some of their current pitfalls, such as being full caster but still being in melee ranks. Outside of them i’m not too too sure. Maybe if you’re playing a gish wizard or sorcerer that’d be a good way to do it. Outside of that i honestly can’t really think of anyone. I don’t find this to be an overwhelmingly powerful feat by any means and kind of just makes you good and it does stag with levels to some degree or another but for the most part it’s a fair choice.
Conclusion
We would love to hear your thoughts, feelings, opinions, and comments. Squat nimbleness Please let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. I appreciate them as much as everyone who has seen them. I wish you a great day, and happy adventuring.
