Vodafone Idea announces Rs 107, Rs 111 validity vouchers with 200MB data

Vi (Vodafone Idea), has launched a few prepaid validity plans for Indian users. These plans cost Rs.107 or Rs.111, and have different validity periods. Talktime and voice calling are available at Rs.107 for 1p/sec and 200MB data with a validity period of 30 days. It does not include any outgoing SMS message free of charge.

The Rs.111 plan, on the other hand has a 31-day validity. It also offers the same features as the previous plan. You can also make voice calls for 1 rupee per second, and you get 200MB of data. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, (TRAI), has recently directed telecom operators to offer recharge plans that have a month validity.

Vi has recently launched two new plans, Rs 327 and R 337 in India. For a period of 30 days, the new Vi Rs 327 plan provides 25GB total data. This plan includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. Vi Movies and TV Classic access are also available on the mobile app. With just Rs 10 more than the Rs 327 plan, the Rs 337 Plan offers 31-day validity, and 28GB high-speed data.

Recent reports have indicated that India’s 5G auction will be delayed. The latest report contradicts this. On Monday, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Communications said that there will be no delay in auctioning 5G spectrum for India. This statement is made at a moment when the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI), which submitted its recommendations regarding spectrum pricing and other nuances, has had delays.

According to previous reports, TRAI had been expected to present its 5G connectivity recommendations in India toward the end of March. The Telecom Ministry would then review these recommendations and conduct the 5G spectrum auction in India in May.
