WhatsApp’s sister Instagram has already added the muted video option for Stories and main posts.

WABetaInfo has updated v2.21.5.4 to reflect a redesign of the footer section in the Social Media Platform that is displayed when editing media. This update shows a revamped chatbar and has the name of the recipient moved to the right. According to the report, a redesign of chat bar is in progress and will be available as a separate update.

The WhatsApp Mute Video feature, currently only available for Android users. Facebook has not yet shared any timelines for iOS’s update.
